How to Build a Minimalist Wardrobe
It's tempting to try out and follow the latest trends, but it’s better to find your personal style and what works best for your body. The perfect way to do that is by creating a minimalist wardrobe.
“WHAT MINIMALISM IS REALLY ALL ABOUT IS REASSESSMENT OF YOUR PRIORITIES SO THAT YOU CAN STRIP AWAY THE EXCESS STUFF – THE POSSESSIONS AND IDEAS AND RELATIONSHIPS AND ACTIVITIES – THAT DON’T BRING VALUE TO YOUR LIFE. ”

Be clear on why you want to do it.
Are you low-key becoming a hoarder and need to get your life together? Do you feel some sort of anxiety looking in your closet while getting dressed, because you think you have "nothing to wear"? Whatever the reason, just don't do it cuz it's "on trend" right now.
Plan the purge.
Are you going to dump everything in one session? Are you going to slowly phase out items? If you're not prepared to immediately replace certain items, the latter would be best.
You know that hand full of items you always reach for? That's probably the starting point to figuring out your style and how you can upgrade it or go in a different direction altogether.
